Innovative Digital Systems (IDS – Indian Trail, North Carolina) has announced the release of its TwinRev 360, a dual-rotary unit designed to increase production over standard one-up rotary printers. Similar to the OEM’s popular Revolution 360T (a UV-LED curable inkjet printer engineered specifically for direct printing on cylindrical or flat objects and tapered/conical objects such as water bottles), as well as other printers offered by IDS, the TwinRev 360 can produce full-colour images (WW+CMYK+VV) with optimal adhesion on a wide range of cylindrical items – including glass, tumblers, jars, cans and many more. The new dual-rotary unit “prints bigger and faster than many single-object printers,” aid the OEM and can accommodate a maximum part length of 14.1” and diameter of 5.1.”

“When you combine printer options that include printable areas up to 12.9” with the maximum object size of the TwinRev 360, you have a system that fits production runs of all proportions,” said Craig Smith, President of Innovative Digital Systems. “Add in a price tag on par with some single-object printers, and it immediately becomes a valuable model in our lineup for a wide range of customers.” Compatible with the UV inks offered by IDS and digitalprintsupplies.com, printer configurations are currently available to not only accommodate primer and Lc/Lm ink options, but a much larger print width as well.
