Major supply-chain issues are taking place right now across our industry – and more chaos is on the horizon. Supply-chain bottlenecks are squeezing Canadian businesses large and small at the worst possible time. Plus, rising demand for packaging, healthcare protocol posters, catalogues and printed books during the pandemic has drastically reduced paper supplies across North America.

Intergraf, The European Federation for Print & Digital Communication, warns that the current paper crisis will have severe repercussions in the supply of print products for all economic markets, and endangers the rebound of our industry. In fact, the organization’s recent feedback from its members revealed that 40% of the paper needed from mid-February onwards cannot currently be obtained.
On Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 12:30 pm (EST), a separate webinar for all Digital Imaging Association members and their guests will be held on this crucial topic. For 45 minutes, Warren McCaffrey, President & CEO of Trinet Global Logistics, will review ways his company can help Canadian printers and suppliers, both large and small, cope with current supply-chain disruptions.
