C.J. Graphics big winners at OPIA Excellence In Print Awards

Jesse Hirsh gave a rousing presentation on his fascinating vision of the future.
Keynote speaker Jesse Hirsh gave a rousing talk on his exciting and challenging vision of the economy of the future.

The best in print were honoured at the Ontario Printing and Imaging Association’s Excellence In Print Awards Night last week in Toronto. Keynote speaker was Jesse Hirsh, a technology expert and futurist.
According to Hirsh, the economy of the future will be smart, ultra-fast, exciting and full of opportunities – provided companies are willing to pay attention and be prepared. As the Internet era reaches maturity and the rise of artificial intelligence accelerates, he presented glimpses of what the economy of the future will look like in a fascinating, fast-paced presentation.
As far as awards, the big winner of the night was C.J. Graphics, who won just over 20 of the 34 awards presented in various categories. Other winners included Ryerson University’s School of Graphic Communications Management, TC Transcontinental, St. Joseph Communications, Mi5 Print & Digital Communications, and Aylmer Express Graphics Group.
Heidelberg, Flint, Domtar, Sun Chemical and Spicers deserve special thanks for sponsoring this event – as do the OPIA’s hard working Sue Bryant, Tracey Preston, Myrna Penny and David Potje, as well as judge Peter Roehrig, for putting on another fabulous evening. Here are the winners, categories and winning entries:
